Bio

Nicole Wilshusen received a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from Colorado State University in 2001 and a Master of Music in Music Therapy at Colorado State University in 2006.  Nicole currently teaches piano classes and advises undergraduate music therapy students.  In addition, she coordinates the Neurologic Music Therapy Institute for the Center of Biomedical Research in Music .  Nicole ‘s clinical background includes working with persons with Alzhimer’s/dementia, Parkinson’s, stroke, autism, CP, Down’s Syndrome and other developmental disabilities.  In addition to her work at CSU, Nicole teaches adaptive piano lessons and early childhood music classes.
