Professor Milofsky teaches literature, editing, and creative writing. He has worked as a freelance journalist and editor and has published four novels, A Friend of Kissinger, Playing from Memory, Eternal People, and Color of Law. He has received fellowships from the NEA, the MacDowell Colony, and Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, and he has won the Prairie Schooner Short Fiction Award. In 2001, he was awarded the Colorado Book Award.
