Music: Liturgical Studies Professor Joel Bacon speaks at philosophy school in Rome

06.21.2010 – Joel Bacon, Colorado State University assistant professor of organ and harpsichord and Stewart and Sheron Golden Chair of Organ and Liturgical Studies, had a paper accepted for presentation at the Dietrich von Hildebrand (1889-1977) Legacy Project conference. The conference takes place May 27-29, 2010 at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross School of Philosophy in Rome, featuring a number of prominent philosophers from around the world. Dr. Bacon’s presentation is titled Von Hildebrand’s Mozart: The Nature of Love in “Don Giovanni.”
