Center for Public Deliberation, Communication Studies | April 29, 2016
Student associates from CSU’s Center for Public Deliberation will be facilitating the next Community Issues Forum in Fort Collins, titled “The Art of Belonging,” on Wednesday, April 27.
The students from the center, which is housed in the Department of Communication Studies in the College of Liberal Arts, will be leading a discussion about topics like what belonging means, how to foster inclusiveness and the benefits of being in a community where everyone feels included and welcome.
The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4th in the Canyon Room West at the Lincoln Center, 417 W. Magnolia St.
There will be a discussion table led in Spanish and an interpreter available. Light snacks will be provided, and a kids activity table with supervision will be available.
Attendees may RSVP and take a pre-forum survey online. The meeting is nearing capacity, so RSVPs are strongly encouraged to reserve a spot. Information gathered will be used by organizers to help design the event; data will not be shared publicly.
