Young Ancients unites John Magnie, Cary Morin, and Steve Amedée—three renowned performers from the popular Fort Collins bands, The Subdudes and Three Twins —in a band whose musical roots intertwine in an inspired blend of blues, folk-rock, soul, gospel, Native Americana, and New Orleans R&B. Fusing remarkable musicians’ signature styles yields a sound rich in vocal harmonies and unexpected instrumentation: soulful accordion, maverick percussion, and deft fingerstyle guitar. This band captivates people and mesmerizes audiences with their unique sound. Young Ancients gives people a taste of Colorado and appeals to various demographics.
Guitarist and singer-songwriter Arne G’Schwind has performed with many Bluegrass and Americana bands, including Nebraska Music Hall of Fame inductee, and the Crazy Louie Band. His music consists of relatable lyrics, along with a distinct sound. These two musical performances are unique, yet have similarities and will blend beautifully together in order to create a once in a lifetime concert experience. It will be the perfect blend of bluegrass and folk. This will be a memorable evening filled with marvelous music. Don’t miss out!
