Adam Mayer, PhD student in Sociology, selected to attend NSF summer seminar series

The Sociology Department is pleased to announce that Adam Mayer was selected (and funded) to attend an National Science Foundation (NSF) summer seminar under the direction of Professor David Hess at Vanderbilt University on the intersections of Science, Technology, Society (STS) and Environmental Sociology and Policy. Adam is one of 15 students nationwide chosen for this special opportunity. Other selected students come from universities such as Brown, University of Colorado, Portland State, Rensselaer Polytechnic, Rutgers, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, Syracuse, SUNY, University of Michigan, University of Kentucky, and the University of Tennessee.
