Thom Borden will present a music education workshop on “Treasures of Music Literacy: Using Children’s Literature to Address Concepts in the Music Classroom.” This workshop uses the Kodály approach through a variety of activities including movement, the recorder, and singing games, while incorporating favorite children’s literature selections.

8:30 a.m. – Registration
9 a.m. – 3 p.m. – Workshop
OAKE member fee: student/$10, $25/half day, $40/full day, and $90 for the 3-workshop package
Non-OAKE member fee: $15/student, $35/half day, $50/full day.
