Join the Department of English and the Organization of Graduate Student Writers through ASCSU for the Creative Writing Program Spring 2013 Reading Series at Colorado State University. The series features special guests and faculty reading from a variety of styles and genres including fiction, poetry, and essays.

Colorado Review is a national literary journal featuring contemporary fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and book reviews. In this session, Matthew Shaer (pictured), winner of the Nelligan Prize in Fiction, and Jack Christian, winner of the Colorado Prize in Poetry discuss their work. About the authors

Matthew Shaer is the author of Among Righteous Men, a book of nonfiction. His reporting appears regularly in New York Magazine, Harper’s, and the Washington Post, among other outlets. He teaches writing at New York University and Drew University and lives in Brooklyn.

Jack Christian was born in Richmond, Virginia, in 1978. He lives in Amherst, Massachusetts, and teaches writing at Westfield State University.
